According to The Register, Easyjet is considering legal action against 'several' sites that grab its data and sell their flights via their own sites.
This is an interesting story, as it shows the increasing concern over data aggregation. News websites do it all the time (like Google News and NewsNow) and usually drop a feed if any publisher complains.
Therefore if Easyjet doesn't like it, it seems most likely that the firms which it says are doing it will simply desist. The only site it has named is Expedia.
But from a consumer point of view you wonder if such activity isn't fair because it helps reduce consumer time online and saves them the hassle of surfing many sites - clearly the reason behind the success of sites like MoneySupermarket.com.
